The fur of Korat is short, fine and its colour is silver plated blue. The bright hairs do not separate when they are stroke, which makes of Korat a good companion for the people having allergies. He is the only cat with the contact of which the allergic people can be. He does not have under coat so one of his main characteristic is that he never loses hairs.
